Magnetic USB cable · magnetic charging cable

Stop fumbling for the port. The cable snaps on.

A small magnetic tip lives in your phone's charging port. Bring the cable's right-angle head near it and the magnet pulls the two together. To unplug, just pull the head away. The tip stays where it is.

Each cable comes with one tip: USB-C, Micro USB or an iPhone tip for Lightning-port iPhones. You choose which one in the options above.

Easy in the dark

Find it on the nightstand without turning on the light.

A thin LED ring around the magnetic face glows blue when the cable has power. Reach toward the glow, bring your phone close and the head clicks onto the tip.

At night on a nightstand, the black magnetic cable head glows blue beside a phone so it is easy to find

Right-angle head

Out of your palm when you hold the phone sideways.

The head leaves the phone at a right angle and turns all the way around the round tip, so you can point the cable up, down or along the edge. Watching or playing in landscape, it sits flat instead of jabbing into your hand.

Less wear on the port

Plug the tip in once. Leave it there.

With an ordinary cable you push a plug in and pull it out every time you charge. Here the tip stays seated in the port and only the magnet connects and lets go, so day-to-day charging is a snap on and a pull off.

Macro: the small magnetic tip sits flush in a phone's charging port while the cable head is pulled a little away

Which tip do I need?

Check your phone's charging port.

USB-C

Most Android phones from the last several years, and iPhone 15 and newer. If your current charger has a small oval plug that goes in either way up, this is your tip.

Micro USB

Older Android phones and many speakers, controllers and small gadgets. The plug is a small trapezoid that only fits one way up.

iPhone (Lightning)

iPhones with a Lightning port: iPhone 14 and earlier. It does not fit iPhone 15 or newer; choose USB-C for those.

Worth knowing before you buy

The honest small print.

  • One tip per cable. The tip type you pick is the one in the box. If you have phones with different ports, add a spare tip by choosing No cable (tip only).
  • Built for charging. We sell it as a charging cable, not as a data or syncing cable. Use your phone's original cable to move files.
  • Charging speed comes from your adapter and phone. We do not make a fast-charging claim for this cable.
  • Not an Apple-certified accessory. The iPhone tip is made to fit the Lightning port; it is not an Apple MFi product.
  • The tip is small. Once it is in your phone, leave it there. A loose tip is easy to lose, so keep spares somewhere safe and away from small children.
