Witch cauldron fog machine · about 5.5 in wide
The little cauldron everybody gathers around.
Fill it with plain water, drop the light-up puck in and plug it in. Cool white fog rises from the glowing water and rolls over the rim while the colors cycle underneath it, and your porch step, party table or mantel turns into the spookiest spot at the party.
It is sized about like a large grapefruit, roughly 5.5 in across and 4.1 in tall, running on plain water alone: cool to the touch and nothing to burn.
How it works
Plain water in. Cool fog out.
The puck at the bottom is an ultrasonic fog maker. A small ceramic disc in its center vibrates so fast that it throws the water above it into a fine, cool fog. A ring of 12 LEDs around the disc lights the water from below and cycles through colors, so the fog takes on the glow as it rises.
Because it is only water, the fog is cool to the touch and the only thing to refill is the water. Switch it off, tip the water out and it is ready for next year.

Easy from the first minute
Set it up, then enjoy the party.
Fill, drop, plug
Fill the cauldron with plain tap water, set the puck in, plug in the adapter. Buyers say they were done in about five minutes, cord hidden and all.
Cover the puck
An inch or two of water over the puck gives steady, dense fog from the first second.
Top up and keep going
The only thing it uses is water. Add more as the level drops and the fog keeps rolling through the whole evening.
Where to put it
Porch step, party table, mantel.
- Front porch. On a step or a side table next to the pumpkins, where trick-or-treaters see the glow from the sidewalk.
- Party table. As the centerpiece beside the candy bowl, where guests can look down into the brew.
- Mantel or windowsill. Anywhere a plug socket is within reach of the cord.
- Between seasons. It doubles as a small lit water feature on a desk or shelf.
Why people choose it
A fog machine without the fuss.
A heated fog machine needs fluid, a heater and a warm-up before the first puff. This one runs on plain water, is cool to the touch, and the cauldron itself is the decoration, so the effect looks like part of the set instead of a gadget hidden behind it.
- Water is the only supply. Fill it from the tap, and cleanup is tipping the water out.
- Color-changing glow. 12 LEDs cycle through colors on their own, so the fog changes mood all evening, all on its own.
- A little bubbling spout. The vibrating disc throws up a small spout of water at the center of the bowl, lit from below, so the cauldron looks like it is brewing.
